How We Work
Our prices, our promises, and the things most repair shops leave until you are already at the counter.
We are a new business, and we would rather say so
Your PC Repair is a new independent repair service based in Dereham, Norfolk. We do not have years of reviews to point at yet, so we are not going to invent them. What we can offer is published pricing, written diagnoses, a real warranty, and a named person who answers the phone. If that is worth a try, we would like the chance to earn the review.
What we commit to
These apply to every repair, on every device, for every customer.
You get a fixed quote after inspection. That price does not move. If we find something else, we stop and ask you before doing anything that costs more.
If we cannot identify or resolve the fault, you do not pay a diagnostic fee. You only ever pay for work you have approved.
Most repairs are completed within 2-5 business days of arrival. If a part needs ordering and that slips, we tell you the day we know.
Every repair is covered for 90 days. If the same fault returns in that window, we put it right at no cost.
We do not browse your files. Devices are stored securely, and we only access what the repair requires. Full detail on our data security page.
You get the diagnosis, the parts used, and the work carried out in writing. No vague 'general maintenance' line items.
What it costs
Starting pricesWe do not publish a "from £X" list for repairs, because until someone has opened your machine any such number is a guess. You get a fixed written quote after inspection, and nothing chargeable happens until you approve it. Parts are always quoted separately.

Things we will tell you that you did not ask
If the repair costs more than the device is worth, we say so and explain why, even though that means we do not get the job. Our repair-or-replace calculator does the same maths without you having to call us.
Plenty of faults are a twenty-minute job with the right instructions. Our DIY repair guides are free and we would rather you used them than paid us for something simple.
We tell you, we fix it at our cost, and if we cannot, you get your money back. Our warranty terms spell out exactly what is covered.
